If the idea behind the show is to remain politically contemporaneous by focusing on things like America’s economic self-sabotage, global politics, etc., I think there’s a Sean-flavored joke in here a la “America’s Irish Goodbye.”
Also, going with something like The Angela Nagle and Sean McCarthy Show is perfectly fine!
These episodes have been great. What needs to happen for us to get a daily podcast?
Angela, if you're looking to promote this thing, you should hit up Ken Early on the second captains. I'm sure he'd be tripping over himself to have to back to plug the show(although I'm sure you'd have to remind him to not ask about incels)
You should call the podcast "A Time of Monsters" after the Gramsci quote "The old world is dying, a new world struggle to be born." I'm enjoying the commentary bc I feel like the wave of neoliberal privatization is the main story here and few are really talking about it at any depth. Mostly it's a lot of analysis of Ukraine, Israel, Musk, USAID, etc., but not the broader picture which is that we are Pinochet-ing ourselves and transforming the country backward to the 19th century.
So happy you two are doing this!!

Angela was saying something interesting about pre revolutionary cruelty when Sean interrupted with some crypto rant: booooooooooo
Otherwise a treat

Really loved this, hope you keep it going. Not sure about a title. Maybe Ghoul Watch lol

When you hear Musk talk about AI and you know what LLMs are and how they work, you know he's not a technical person. He's a marketing person.
What about the FAFO political podcast? I know it's a little vulgur but it fits pretty well with the content.
